You are the Best Wife : Book Review

best wife

There are two kind of personalities. There are those who have everything and still complain as if they have nothing. And there are those who lose everything and act like life has given them everything. Sometimes both these personalities exist in the same soul. Kill the first one, love the second

You are the Best Wife starts with this truth we fail to realize.

Indian literature has given us a lot of young authors to be proud of and I can firmly say Ajay K Pandey is one among them. In case of young authors we would be able to observe the improvement in their writing skills with each and every book. We always end up forgiving a debut author if the book is not up to the mark. But with this book “You are the Best Wife” by Ajay, it doesn’t look like a debut novel at all and I wasn’t aware that it was his first.

Right from the very first page itself, it was very vivid that this story has a sad ending. The author was cleaver enough to stop the story in between by stating that if you aren’t ready for a sad ending stop here and gave us a happily ever after, which wasn’t satisfactory and this one paragraph lead to an inevitable urge to read the book further more to know what really happened even if you aren’t really ready to know it.

This is the true love story of the author and his beloved wife Bhavna. Throughout the book there are few life changing quotes or slogans that Ajay and Bhavna followed sincerely. These quotes could even change your life for good.

“Every problem is an opporunity”

Each and every page gives a positivity towards life even during worst time and how to get through it. Bhavna has enlightened everyone of us about life and it should be measured using quality not by quantity. This made me take vow “to enjoy life to fullest even with smallest of things” Even though it is an anti climax, it will help people to gain something good out of this book.

PS : At the end I had a smile on my face and tears in eyes. Definitely a good book. If you like Ravinder Singh, Chetan Bhagat, Nikita Singh, Durjoy Datta and Sudeep Nagarkar, you will love it.

“Never Surrender”
